I felt like drawing Koudoawaia because she's a pretty dragon, and afterwards, I couldn't resist drawing 'me' as a dragon as well... dig my seahorse-style spikes. I used to draw dragons ALL the time (I had this weird rainbow one called Colourblind; a black and pink set of twins called Disease and Desire, yes, after the Soft Cell song; and then a trio of nomads - Jubilee, the angst-filled gold dragon, Caradoc, the friendly water dragon, and Wanda, his adoptive daughter hatchling who was...uh, dense to say the least), and I do love reading stories with them in/their folklore, etc, but I don't know; I'm not sure if I really want my /own/ dragons, but I do like drawing other peoples'.

I used to draw dragons all the time. I miss drawing them sometimes, they hold a special place in my heart - I am Welsh, after all. These dragons are what I've affectionately come to call 'Tempest Dragons'. They rise at the beginning of a storm, catching the thermals, their black, slick bodies twisting and turning, creating the winds that thrash the land and seas in a storm.
